Academy Courses

If there are no available spots, it means the course is currently full. However, you can still add yourself to the notification queue in case a spot opens up. To do this, use the "Get Notified" option. Please note that notifications are sent out simultaneously, and spots are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

On the day of course, please report to the SIG Experience Center for check-in where the Academy staff will direct you to your course room.

Standard courses will begin at 8:30 am. Before attending, please double-check your confirmation emails and the course page to ensure you arrive at the correct time.

Our standard course will have 10 students. However, some of the higher-level instructor courses will have 12 or 16 students.

During the training, you will be given a one-hour lunch break. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or if you prefer, you can explore the town of Epping, which offers various dining options such as, Brew, Popovers, Wrap City, Jersey Mikes, Goody Coles BBQ, and more; all located within a 10-minute drive from the Academy.
For added convenience, you can also click on this Nextdine to have your lunch delivered to the Academy and made available for pickup at the indoor pistol range.

We unfortunately do not allow unregistered participants in any of our courses.

Academy Range

You are welcome to bring any personal firearms and ammo you like, as long as you abide by the facility rules on our caliber and ammo limits. Exceptions - firearms are provided for Handgun & Rifle 101, and Pistol Mounted Optics 102; ammunition is supplied for Handgun 101.

Unfortunately, our 1,000 yard Academy range is not open to the public. The only way to use our 1,000 yard Academy range is to take one of our courses.

We have the SIG SAUER Academy Shooting Center, a state-of-the-art public indoor shooting range.

Academy Registration

Each individual registering will need to create their own account.

Contact the Academy at 603-610-3400, or email sigsaueracademy@sigsauer.com, to move into the earlier course.

The minimum age for taking a course is 16. Students ages 16 & 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian enrolled in the same course; the minor will need to take the course with a participating parent. Once they are 18, they will be able to take courses on their own. To register a minor, please call the Academy at 603-610-3400 to let us know their name and birthdate, so we can make a note on their profile.

Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Gift cards can be used to in the Pro Shop, they are not refundable. Academy gift cards can be used to purchase courses and course ammunition when checking out.

We recommend that you purchase a gift card for your friend so they can choose a course that best fits with their shooting ability.

Ammunition/equipment

Our indoor pistol range is the only range that requires frangible ammunition. If you are enrolled in a pistol course, and would like to know for sure if you will need frangible ammunition, feel free to give us a call 603-610-3400 and we’ll be happy to tell you where your course is scheduled.

Ammunition is purchased during the process of purchasing your course.

Firearm rental, along with a holster, magazine, and ear & eye protection, is included in your tuition.

We will provide training on the specific firearm you regularly use. However, please note that your firearm will be subject to inspection and approval by the instructor. The final decision on whether you can use your personal firearm rests with the instructors. If, for any reason, you are unable to use your personal firearm, a suitable one will be provided to you. Exceptions - firearms are provided for Handgun & Rifle 101, and Pistol Mounted Optics 102.

Background checks

If you have a valid concealed carry permit / license to carry, you will be required to complete a pre-screen check, upload a copy of your current/unexpired concealed carry permit / license to carry to your account and bring your concealed carry permit / license to carry with you when you check in for your course.

If you do not have a conceal carry permit, or firearms identification card, you will need to complete a background check.

You do not have to complete a background check; make sure to have bring your credentials with you for verification during course check-in. Please note, you will not be admitted into the course if you do not have your credentials with you.

Background checks typically take one to two weeks to complete. You will receive an email notification from Safe Visitor when you’ve been approved.

Background checks are valid for one year from the date of completion.

Conference Center

We have nicely appointed function rooms for social or corporate gatherings, team building opportunities on an obstacle course, as well as educational seminars and courses.

We can accommodate anywhere from 5 to 100 guests.

We offer group experiences and can tailor them to meet all experience levels.

We have partnerships with many catering companies and food trucks in the area. Simply inform us of your culinary preferences, and we will arrange the perfect catering experience for your group.

To book an event, prior experience with firearms is not necessary. We can tailor any event to meet your needs, regardless of your level of experience with firearms.

All of our rooms are equipped with state of the art audio visual capabilities.

Experience Center / Flagship Store

You do not need to be a New Hampshire resident to purchase a firearm. However, there may be certain state restrictions in place that limit your purchases, or will require the use of an FFL.

All personal firearms need to be holstered, in a case, or range bag, upon entering the building.

Restrooms are available to the public.

The SIG SAUER Experience Center is open daily from 8:00am - 7:30pm.

Third-party transfers are not offered at our location.

At this time, we do not accept firearm trade-ins.

Dogs are allowed in the flagship store as long as they are leashed.

We do offer armorer services for all SIG firearms and products. It is important to note that you must be present for all armorer services. For any warranty claims and website returns, please go through customer service.

Foreign students

Before proceeding with the registration process, we will need to run a copy of your passport through our database. Additionally, depending on the course you wish to register for, you might need an export license. To begin the registration process, kindly email a copy of your passport and the list of courses you are interested in to sigsaueracademy@sigsauer.com. We will review your information and notify you if you are eligible to take those courses or if additional licensing will be required.

SIG EXPERIENCE CENTER RANGE

You are welcome to visit the range and must adhere to all rules and regulations. Please ensure that you have a government-issued ID with you.

We have SIG SAUER Academy Instructors on staff at the range to assist you with basics.

Once you arrive in the range lobby, please fill out your range safety waiver. This can be done by scanning the QR code located near the entrance, or on the tablet at each register. After this is done, please speak to any of the range staff at the counter who will be happy to assist you with checking in, and getting you on the range.

Our SIG Experience Center Range is open to the public. The range has memberships that can help you increase your range time to improve your skills on your own time; use your own firearm, or rent a SIG.

Travel & lodging

While there are no hotels in Epping, there is a hotel that we have a special rate arrangement with – within 15 minutes of the Academy. The Hampton Inn & Suites in Exeter, NH is the closet hotel, and offers special pricing. Please call (603) 658-5555 and reference the SIG SAUER Corporate rate when making your reservation.

The Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is a 30-minute drive from our location, while Boston-Logan International Airport (BOS) is an hour drive.
