SIG EXPERIENCE CENTER PUBLIC RANGE ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I, the undersigned, on behalf of my successors, assigns, heirs and executors, do hereby acknowledge, release, covenant not to sue, and forever discharge SIG SAUER Inc., of 72 Pease Boulevard, Newington, New Hampshire 03801, its employees, agents, successors and assigns, of and from any and all manner of action and actions, claims, suits, damages, judgments and demands of any kind whatsoever, whether now or in the future, at law or in equity, that results or may result from my use of firearms at the SIG SAUER Experience Center public range, or any training or instruction on the use of such firearms by SIG SAUER Inc., its successors, employees, agents and assigns.
I acknowledge that the use of firearms is an inherently dangerous activity and involves known, unknown, and unanticipated risks which could result in damage or destruction of property, serious physical injury to myself or others, or death. I expressly acknowledge that serious accidents may occur during my use of the SIG SAUER Experience Center public range, and freely accept and assume any and all such risks, dangers, and hazards, and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage, and any other loss resulting therefrom.
I further acknowledge that the use of an indoor range comes with increased risks of injury or illness related to high sound levels and/or the presence of potentially toxic materials in the air, such as lead, and other heavy metals or chemicals present in ammunition, including an increased risk for hearing loss or damage. I also acknowledge that underlying medical conditions may be exacerbated or worsened in such an environment, or might make me particularly vulnerable to such exposure, such as, but not limited to, pregnancy.
I hereby certify that I have read, am familiar with, and agree to at all times abide by, the SIG SAUER Experience Center public range rules, which are posted in the range lobby, and each range bay. I further agree to follow any and all additional safety rules or guidance that are posted or provided by instructors, safety officers, or other SIG SAUER staff. I understand that I may be removed from the range facilities if I do not follow any safety rules or guidance or if my behavior poses a risk to myself or other participants.
I hereby certify, and agree to a background check to verify, that I am not in any way prohibited by law from possessing a firearm, ammunition, or other weapon.
I hereby understand that any minors may only be allowed to access the range if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18, and further understand and agree that no minor under the age of 14 shall be allowed to handle handguns within the range, and no minor under the age of 10 shall be allowed in the range at any time. I further understand that minors age 10-13 are limited to .22LR caliber firearms, and minors age 14-15 are limited to .22LR and 9mm firearms.
I hereby certify that I am free of any disability or physical condition that may prohibit my safe use of the range facilities, or ability to abide by the range rules, and that I am not under the influence of any prescription or non-prescription drugs or alcohol which may affect my use of the range facilities.
I hereby consent to all medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during my use of the range facilities. I agree to assume all costs and fees incurred as a result of such medical treatment. I have provided an emergency contact on this form to be notified in the event of an emergency.
I understand while using the range facilities, I may be photographed or recorded on video. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by SIG SAUER and its agents, affiliates, and assigns. I further agree that I shall not be entitled to any compensation for such use.
If at any time your right to possess firearms is restricted, or your ability to safely participate in range activities is changed, you must notify SIG SAUER of such changes immediately.
Firearm Experience Level
PARENT(S) OR COURT-APPOINTED LEGAL GUARDIAN(S) MUST SIGN FOR ANY PARTICIPATING MINOR (THOSE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE) AND AGREE THAT THEY AND THE MINOR ARE SUBJECT TO ALL THE TERMS OF THIS DOCUMENT, AS SET FORTH ABOVE.
BY SIGNING BELOW THE PARENT OR COURT-APPOINTED LEGAL GUARDIAN AGREES THAT THEY ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO ALL THE TERMS OF THIS DOCUMENT, AS SET FORTH ABOVE.
