The course will start off with a quick recap/warm-up of Skill Drills from Steel Frenzy 1 on the plate rack bay. From there, short burst movement mechanics drills that Max utilizes in his training routines, and then on to full dynamic drills incorporating static and moving steel targets under time stress and against classmates. The day will be fun, packed with learning, challenging, and rewardingly exhausting!
This course is for Advanced level shooters who have successfully completed Steel Frenzy Pistol I. This course is a physically demanding course with a high round count. Students must be realistic about their physical condition and gun handling skills if considering attending this course. Students will be required to rapidly move between shooting stances and shooting positions. Drills will incorporate moving and running to positions at distances of 5 to 50 yards.
Every drill in this course will involve one or all the following: the use of alternate shooting positions, move-stop and shoot, shooting on the move, and running to positions. The drills are designed to challenge the individual shooter to improve their performance based upon their individual skill set. The drills will challenge the shooter both physically and mentally.
Students who successfully completed the 2-day course 'Handgun 104: Introduction to Defensive Handgun Skills' prior to February 2024 will have fulfilled the prerequisites necessary to enroll in any courses that require successful completion of either the 1-day 'Handgun 104: Advanced Handgun Skills' or the 1-day 'Introduction to Defensive Handgun Skills' course.
