Concealed Draw

In this one-hour, hands-on course, students will review and learn the important techniques to safely improving their concealed carry draw speed from their preferred method of concealed carry.

Experience Requirements: Handgun 103: Intermediate Handgun (8 Hours) or Handgun 103: Intermediate Handgun for Women (8 Hours) and Pistol Mounted Optics 103 (16 Hours)

In this one-hour, hands-on course, students will review and learn the important techniques to safely improving their concealed carry draw speed from their preferred method of concealed carry.

Experience Requirements

Holster Certification or Handgun 103. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training.

Course Outline

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Describe safety concerns when carrying concealed.
Evaluate carry techniques.
Duplicate proper draw and recovery from the holster with and without a cover garment.

Equipment List

Quality functional semi-automatic pistol in common caliber .380-.45ACP
- Carry-sized recommended
- Semi-auto center fire pistols only
- Revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed
(3) 15-round magazines
Belt mounted, dominant side, outside the waistband holster OR inside the waistband holster
Magazine pouches
Clothing suitable for training (pants must have belt loops)
Sturdy belt at least 1.5" wide
Concealment garment (jacket, vest, sweatshirt, etc.)
Wraparound eyewear with polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription
Electronic hearing protection, earmuffs, or earplugs

Ammo

Approximately 50 rounds pistol. Ammunition is available for purchase at the SIG SAUER Experience Center.
