Before You Arrive

All applicants 18 and older* are required to meet our legal requirements whether your selected course is a firearms or non-firearms course. All participants are required to provide ONE of the following:

• CURRENT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: Please upload a legible copy of your current credentials and be prepared to show your ID upon check-in.
• ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY: Please register using your military email and be prepared to show your ID upon check-in.
• FOREIGN STUDENT: Please email or call the Academy at ssainfo@sigsauer.com or 603-610-3400.
• CIVILIAN WITH A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT OR FIREARMS IDENTIFICATION CARD: Please upload a legible copy of your permit/FID card (permits/FID cards must be no more than 5 years old) and purchase a prescreen here OR add it to your cart when purchasing a course.
• CIVILIAN WITHOUT A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT OR FIREARMS IDENTIFICATION CARD: Please purchase a background check here OR add it to your cart when purchasing a course.

You may upload your legal credentials by visiting your account page and clicking on the "Personal Information" tab. The "Add a New File" option is near the bottom. We suggest you take a photo of your credentials with your smartphone, and either upload the image straight from your phone, or email the image to a computer and upload from there. *Students must be at least 16 years old to participate in a class. If the student is 16 or 17, a parent or legal guardian is required to attend the class alongside them as a fully registered and paying participant. Once the student turns 18, they may attend classes independently.

Failure to complete a background check or provide proper credentials 14 days prior to class may result in removal from class.
