Our instructors have years of experience in firearms instruction and defensive tactics gained from military, law enforcement, and government agencies. They are also experienced instructors who understand the needs of beginners and experts alike.
Chris, better known as "Cav", teaches pistol, rifle, shotgun, precision scoped rifle, and armorer courses.
Fun fact: Cav is trained in mountain warfare, survival in all environments, rock and ice climbing, tracking, and high-angle rope rescue.
There's no such thing as "too much training" when it comes to firearms.
I have carried a pistol in NY since 1982 and never received such complete and transferrable training drills and skill development. Having been an HR Executive for several decades and employing more than 2,000 employees, it is refreshing to see people with such passion for their job and compassion for their customer(s). At no time was anyone made to feel less than, and me and my fellow students were developed individually and at our own pace.
I’m from California and I came out here with my wife and my son. My son is a new shooter, my wife has never shot before but I’ve shot since I was 16 years old. I wanted them to get some really good training and this is the best place to start. I’ve been able to overcome some bad habits and learn some new good habits. The progression and the techniques they use here are just phenomenal.
My wife and I attended the Handgun 102 course this past Sunday and I wanted to say that we had a spectacular time. Our instructors provided excellent instruction and fostered an engaging and safety-focused environment that made learning easy and relaxing. I know I have taken away some drills I intend to add to my range visits, to make me a more effective shooter. We are both very excited to attend Handgun 103.
