VTAC EDC Pistol Course

Overview

During the VTAC EDC Pistol Course, you will learn how to use proper cover and concealment as well as drawing from concealment while seated in and outside your vehicle. This course will also cover shooting on the move and obscure barricade shooting positions. VTAC standard training techniques will be the focus while also pushing your capabilities with your EDC firearm. This is a fast past course so please come prepared!

Experience Requirements

This is an intermediate level class. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from concealment.

We strongly recommend completion of Handgun 103 or its equivalent prior to registering for this course.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Ammo

• Estimated round count: 750 rounds pistol
• For Epping, NH courses, non-toxic, non-jacketed FRANGIBLE ammunition may be required
• Lead core ammunition to be used on steel only
• No green/brown tip, armor piercing, or surrogate rounds to be used on steel at any time
• Ammunition is available for purchase from the Epping, New Smyrna Beach, and Colorado Springs facilities only
