Experience Requirements
Students should be prepared for physically demanding events throughout the day. Some events may require students to carry up 45 pounds.
Course Outline
This course will test the students' ability to perform in a high stress environment, challenge them mentally and physically, and ultimately provide tools to succeed in any situation. Students will learn how to safely operate a modern sporting rifle and engage multiple targets. They will be challenged to complete physical obstacles as a team and will work together through problem-solving scenarios that will challenge communication and collaboration.
SIG SAUER Academy Instructors have decades of experience in high threat environments and understand the complexities of working as a team. Throughout the day, instructors will be taking notes and evaluating each student to provide feedback at end of the course. Their goal is to provide guidance and demonstrate the importance of how to maintain professionalism and integrity in challenging situations, adapt and overcome in constantly changing environments and how to communicate effectively within a team to accomplish a mission.
After Action Debriefing and Instructor Feedback- Food will be provided
Class will start at 8:00am and will run until 5:00pm.
Private courses for you and your team are available upon request. Task Force SIG will strengthen trust and comradery within your group regardless of profession. This unforgettable experience will uncover your team's own unique skills to foster better communication and collaboration. Groups can choose to follow the course outline or pick from an a la cart "menu" of training options to make a unique and personalized experience. Half day courses are available but exclude the shooting portion due to time.
Menu Items Include:
Obstacle Course - Includes tire wall, wire bridge, commando crawl and much more. Teams are tasked to complete each obstacle, leaving no man behind. Candidates will be challenged mentally and physically but will also learn how to build trust, communicate effectively, how to adapt and overcome, and gain confidence when pushed outside of one's comfort zone.
Leader Reaction Course (LRC)- A hiking trail that circles the Academy property and includes obstacles and Problem Solving Scenarios. Teams will learn key principals of effective communication, team accountability, and adaptability.
PCC Rifle Operation - Includes basic rifle operation, safe handling skills, rifle manipulation, shoot, reload, unload, and will finish with a friendly team competition. Students will learn key principles of decision making under fire and
Sniper Competition- The Sniper Competition is to challenge each individuals ability to communicate effectively. Candidates will learn what behaviors and tactics work and do not work.

Equipment List
Sturdy belt at least 1.5" wide
Footwear suitable for rapid movement, turning, walking through rough terrain- hiking boots or flat-soled sneakers. Running sneakers not recommended.
Clothing suitable for training in any weather. Extra clothing recommended.

Electronic hearing protection or earmuffs and earplugs
Bug spray and Sunscreen
Do not bring any firearms or ammunition to this course
