Tactical Patrol Supervisor (8 Hours)

Overview

This course will place them in leadership roles and teach them how to manage barricaded suspects, building searches, "suicide by cop" attempts, active shooter response, and downed officer rescue situations. The course also includes a ballistics demonstration. No ammunition or specialized equipment is needed to attend. This is a hands-on physical course requiring active participation, dress appropriately in duty or tactical attire. This course bridges the crucial gap while waiting for SWAT to respond where decisive instant action may be required to save lives.

Experience Requirements

This class is restricted to armed professionals only.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Course Outline

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• How to manage barricaded suspect
• Building searches
• "Suicide by cop" attempts
• Active shooter response
• Downed officer rescue situations
• Ballistics demonstration

In order to receive a certificate of completion, students will attend 8 hours of training. Students will demonstrate the proper response to a variety of emergency situations as a Law Enforcement supervisor.
