The best competitive shooters in the world are experts in minimizing the downtime involved in a course of fire. Shooting Sooner 2 focuses on becoming more efficient and minimizing the downtime between shooting and transitioning between targets. Part 2 of this series emphasizes refining techniques and applying strategies that focus on economy of motion. Students will isolate and refine the foundational skills needed to be successful within the sport of USPSA.
Handgun 103 (or equivalent) or have a USPSA classification before enrolling in Shooting Sooner II. Completion of Shooting Sooner I is highly recommended. The student MUST be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun. Open to all. Background checks are required, unless the student has a permit to carry from his/her state of residency or is a sworn law enforcement officer, corrections officer, private licensed security, or US Military personnel. Experience with a shot timer preferred.
