Once students have completed a quick warm-up, they will delve deeper into the basics, covering all the science and best practices behind the zeroing process. Students will work through a progression of drills; bolt-lock reloads, multiple target transitions, malfunction clearance, as well as alternative shooting positions with the goal of building their rifle manipulation skill confidence. In Rifle 102, students will begin to track their performance and focus on the practice phase of SIG SAUER Academy's training methodology of performance-based training. Rifle 102 will solidify the appropriate rifle fundamentals preparing the student for Rifle 103.
Rifle 101 or an equivalent course is required prior to attending. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, and foundational marksmanship skills.
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.
