Designed to build upon the foundational skills learned in the Executive Protection Operations Course, this two-day skill builder focuses on the operational aspects of the EP mission and introduces surveillance detection techniques. Day one consists of performing advance work to include route and site surveys. Upon completion of an Operations plan, the Detail will prepare for and conduct a realistic low risk EP Operation in the local area. The scenario will involve both foot formations and motorcade work and include surveillance detection. This is a physically and mentally demanding course requiring long days and maximum student participation. Students should prepare accordingly.
This is an advanced level class. Successful completion of the SIG SAUER Academy Executive Protection Operations Course is required to attend this skill builder. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from a holster. This is a physically demanding course.
