The Advanced Instructor Certification was meticulously crafted as an Instructor Development course to elevate the effectiveness of both your program and instructors. Drawing from over 30 years of expertise in competitive, law enforcement, and military special programs training, this course provides a comprehensive and pragmatic approach for today’s armed professionals and responsible citizens. The Advanced Pistol Instructor Certification course is your gateway to refining instructional techniques and curriculum design. Embracing a ‘Coaching’ perspective over traditional ‘Instruction,’ instructors will gain valuable insights to enhance overall performance.
Students who successfully complete the course will receive an instructor certification valid for three (3) years in the use and instruction of both rifle and pistol caliber shoulder firearms. Students previously certified as SIG SAUER Advanced Pistol Instructor will be re-certified as an instructor and valid for a three (3) year period.
Attendees must be a previously certified firearms instructor through the SIG SAUER Academy or certified through another nationally recognized instructor development program (5 day minimum). Call for clarification.
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Evaluation and Assessment:
Students must meet the minimum standards to receive a certificate of achievement, failure to do so may result in a certificate of attendance. Students will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of all listed learning objectives safely and successfully. Continuous assessment of student progress is embedded within the course to identify learning needs and shape instruction.
Successful completion of the course is determined by meeting several combined course requirements. Achievement is not solely based on passing or failing a single event but on overall performance across multiple graded events. The following distinctions apply:

Tuition includes free loan of firearms, holsters, safety glasses, and hearing protection at the Epping facility only.
