COURSES

VTAC Designated Marksman

Duration

Designated Marksman course is intended to be shot with your carbine gas gun and medium powered optics.

Recommended optics would be at a minimum 6 power. You can also use your bolt gun but be aware that you will be shooting a lot during this course. If you own a 16 inch 5.56mm carbine and an optic you are all set. You will also need to bring the following packing list for this course. We will shoot from 25 to 300 yards for this course.

Prerequisite

This is an advanced level class. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, and foundational marksmanship skills. Student must have attended either VTAC's Carbine 1.5, SIG SAUER Academy's Advanced Defensive Rifle , or an equivalent course.
