Kyle, now retired from the US Army, began his active service duty in the 101st Airborne Division before attending and completing SFAS and the Special Forces “Q” course. He finished with 20 years of dedicated service, 16 of those years in Special Forces operational detachment experience. As a Green Beret, he served as the Master Breacher and an Assaulter in the 3rd Special Forces Commanders In-Extremis Force (CIF) which came after the completion of Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance, Target Analysis, and Exploitation Techniques Course (SFARTAETC). Kyle served as an the primary explosive breaching instructor, as well as, firearms and close quarters battle instructor for the 3rd Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course. He also served as a breaching instructor at Harvey Point Defense Testing Activity for various Federal agencies. After retiring from the US Army Special Forces, he was contracted to instruct CQB, explosive entry, and close precision engagement for strategic nuclear weapons recapture operations.
His military qualifications include the Special Forces Tab, Combat Infantry Badge, Parachutist Badge, Military Free-fall Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge; the Dominican Free-fall Parachutist Badge and Parachutists Badges from Germany, Australia and the Dominican Republic.
Kyle is a sworn Deputy Sheriff and an active member the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), a life member the National Rifle Association (NRA), and Decade/Life member of the Special Forces Association (SFA). Kyle holds a BA in Leadership and an MS in Security Management. Currently he is a full time Senior Instructor in Counter terrorism at the largest Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Kyle holds multiple Federal and NRA instructor certifications in firearms.
