Kerry has spent the last 18 years of his life providing care for critically ill and injured patients in a variety of environments around the world. He spent 10 years active duty and 5 years reserve duty in the USAF as a Combat Medic/Flight Medic-Airborne/Instructor and was deployed in several locations in the Middle East and numerous other locations worldwide with both US and foreign militaries. Upon separation from the military, he worked as a civilian paramedic while obtaining his licensure as a Registered Nurse, which he received in 2003.
