VTAC Pistol 1.5

Overview

The intent of this course is to take VTAC or Sig Academy students to the next level with difficult drills and more feedback regarding training and coaching. Each student will be required to shoot from 3-100 yards with the pistol from non-standard shooting positions. More driving, more moving, more stress. We will continue to push students with support and strong hand only manipulations. 

Experience Requirements

This is an intermediate level class. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, and foundational marksmanship skills. Student must have attended either VTAC's Basic Pistol, SIG SAUER Academy's Handgun 103, or an equivalent course.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Equipment List

• Pistol with 4 magazines - students need to provide their own firearms
• Long sleeve shirt and pants
• Knee and elbow pads
• Eye and ear protection
• Sharpie

Ammo

• Estimated round count: 1,500 rounds pistol
• For Epping, NH courses, non-toxic, non-jacketed FRANGIBLE ammunition may be required
• Ammunition is available for purchase from the Epping facility only
